In August, INC hosted a mixer for creatives with the IGNITE FGCU ministry at Summit Church. Over 400 FGCU students poured into IGNITE's Tuesday worship, followed by a creative showcase of talented musicians, visual artists, and poets.
Artist Spotlight: Peyton Pichardo
Peyton Pichardo was a featured artist who sang and played original music. Peyton has lived in the Fort Myers area for four years. He has served at Summit Church in their college, student, and worship ministry for three years and is on part-time staff with Summit’s church partner Equipt Inc. as a worship resident focusing on Sunday worship and student ministry worship.
I started writing music at age 18, ranging in alternative, folk, and contemporary Christian genres. My music is inspired by God’s creation, friends, and family. I am solely driven to be a representation of the Gospel of Christ through my music, knowing that through the Lord’s providential care, He will bring it to completion.
Among other artists showcased at the mixer were Mica Nova, Cassandra Blandino, Caleb Sellers, Baily Martinez, and Yalendy Joseph.
Coming this Fall, INC will launch its first INC FGCU chapter, driving its mission to disciple creatives to reflect and proclaim Christ in their lives and work. INC is partnering with IGNITE, a college ministry at FGCU, which is impacting hundreds of students. The INC group is part of FGCU Ignite’s small group ministry lineup.

A creative discipleship group at FGCU will allow creatives on campus to connect, grow spiritually, and engage in community with other like-minded people.
