The INC Compassion Initiative brings hope and healing to underprivileged children, families and adults battling addictions and other life challenges, sharing the love of Christ through the arts.

Chad is a uniquely gifted musician who actively uses his skills to impact lives. He is an elementary music teacher/ percussionist who has performed and taught in Southwest Florida for over two decades. For many years, Chad has inspired, mentored, and poured into thousands of young hearts. Kids love him, and their parents do, too! His unique teaching methods are achieving insurmountable outcomes in the lives of students in Collier County and beyond.
“My calling is to use my gift of music to share the love of Christ and bring Hope to the least, the last, and the lost. The people we serve are challenged in many ways. Drumming creates community and collaboration, and is a healing tool that mends broken hearts.”
When he is not teaching, you can find Chad playing at a local venue or drumming with the homeless or visually impaired, giving them hope and inspiring joy.
Mr. Craig has music education degrees from Indiana University and the State University of NY at Fredonia. He studied drumset with Kenny Aronoff (John Mellencamp) and Timpani with Gerald Carlyss (Philadelphia Orchestra). Chad studied African drumming with Sowah Mensah and Francis Kofi, and Ghanaian xylophone with Bernard Woma and Dr. Kay Stonefelt. He has also attended Magbana Drum and Dance retreat led by Michael Markus and M’Bemba Bangoura of Guinea. Chad has been on the World Music Drumming staff for over a decade, where he teaches other music teachers the benefits of drumming.
We are blessed to have Chad on the INC team, drumming up Hope and touching lives in Southwest Florida.
